LaDansers
on the move
The students of LaDanse Workshop have been busy. They recently participated in their end of year recital at Roberts Cultural Life Center located at Roberts Wesleyan College. Graduating seniors this year are Danielle Bertino, Tracey Bunce, Katie Catalano, Kimberly Covers, Samantha Mykins, Caitlin Fitzgibbon, and Kaylynn Crumb.
The dance year was a great success. Dancers competed at The Rochester Invitational Dance Competition and were awarded top awards. LaDansers also performed at the Gates Chili Service Club Benefit. The proceeds of over $1,000 was used to help a family in need.
The studio is an active member of Dance Rochester. They performed at City Hall for the organization's Atrium Concert. This is a concert promoting National Dance Week. The studio was one of 8 chosen for this honorable event.
On June 15, LaDanse performed at Frontier Field before a Rochester Red Wings record crowd of over 14,000. They were one of three dance studios chosen to perform at a Red Wings Game.
The dance studio prepares for their summer season of Beginner Irish, Tots Princess Camp, College Age Ballet and Tap, and their Ever Famous Dance Camp. They also will be performing at Spencerport's Canal Splash. They lead off their September through May session on September 10.
Two of their students, Alex Morabito and Paige Brongo, are planning their trip to NYC to perform in the opening number of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The goal of LaDanse Workshop is to give individual, quality instruction in the dance arts. Emphasis is placed on the development of coordination, poise, perception and discipline, while providing an enjoyable learning environment. Provided information and photo.
