at the Dog Wash Delanda DeLucia has been a pet groomer for more than six years. After earning her bachelor of science in biology from SUNY Brockport, she attended the Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming. Following training and education as a certified pet groomer she began working at PetSmart in Greece. When the Brockport PetSmart grooming salon opened she transferred there, and met many wonderful pets and their owners. The store closed, and she chose to pursue her interest in owning my own grooming business. She grooms independently out of the Dog Wash, located on Main Street in Brockport. Being pregnant with her second child, she works part time, setting a schedule to allow care for myself and have easy availability for my clients. DeLucia and owner, Patti Francisco, a groomer herself have become good friends, have built a great working relationship. Through the year she has configured her education, gaining knowledge by attending dog shows and improving skills by taking classes from the National Dog Groomers Association.
