Weddings for April 2007


Katie L. O'Brien - Erich M. Boersch

Mr. and Mrs. Patric O'Brien of Spencerport announce the engagement of their daughter Katie L. to Erich M. Boersch, son of Ronald Boersch and Ms. Del Boersch of Cheektowaga, New York.

Miss O'Brien is a 2005 graduate of Daemen College and is teaching elementary/special ed at Aspire of WNY.

Mr. Boersch is a 2006 graduate of Buffalo State College and is a high school social studies teacher.

An August 25, 2007 wedding is planned.


Christina M. Monahan - Brandon G. Steinorth

Rob and Sheila Steinorth of Hilton are pleased to announce the engagement of their son Brandon G. to Christina M. Monahan, daughter of Joseph and Linda Monahan of Binghamton, New York.

Brandon is a graduate of Ithaca College and is a social studies teacher for the Newfield Central School District.

The bride-to-be also graduated from Ithaca College and is a speech therapist for the Ithaca Central School District.

Their wedding is planned for July 7, 2007.


Tempest A. Wolfe - Scott M. Bisang

The engagement of Tempest A. Wolfe and Scott M. Bisang has been announced.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Cynthia Wolfe of Brockport and Roger Wolfe of Rochester. The future groom is the son of Patricia Ronayne and Robert Bisang, both of Manchester Center, Vermont.

Tempest and Scott are graduating from Syracuse University in May 2007 and have plans to attend graduate school.

An October 10, 2009 wedding is planned.


Heidi Schultz - Todd Wendel

Terry and Sue Schultz of Hilton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Heidi to Todd Wendel, son of Ralph and Sue Wendel of Coldwater, Ohio.

Heidi is enrolled in the College of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University. Todd is also enrolled at The Ohio State University in the College of Optometry.

A June 29, 2007 wedding is planned.


Symonds - Burress

Kristen M. Symonds and Joseph M. Burress, Jr. were united in marriage January 6, 2007 at Victory Baptist Church, Henrietta.

The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Laurie Symonds of Hilton. The groom is the son of Rev. Joseph and Patty Burress, Sr., of Rochester.

The maid of honor was Kristyn Bellman. Amy Billings, Amanda Sitterly, Shannon Andrews and Rachel Ingham acted as bridesmaids. Madeline Burress was flower girl.

The best man was E.J. Arnold. Serving as groomsmen were Andrew Bellavia, Michael Larosa, A. Tyrone Wilmer and Kevin Gordon. The ring bearer was Joseph Burress III.

The bride is a December 2006 graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College. The groom is employed by Time Warner Cable.

The couple honeymooned in Clearwater Beach, Florida. They reside in Hilton.


Cole - Vogt

Carole A. Cole and Kenneth W. Vogt were married September 9, 2006 at Ogden Baptist Church, Spencerport.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Judith Cole of Spencerport. The groom is the son of William and Joyce Vogt of Rockaway, New Jersey.

The bride is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology and is employed at Kraft Foods. The groom is attending Montclair State University, is employed at Winkler USA and is the owner of KV Custom Landscaping.

The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They reside in Budd Lake, New Jersey.


McCall - Trusler

Colleen A. McCall and Jason M. Trusler were united in marriage November 10, 2006 at the Reformed Theological Seminary in Oviedo, Florida.

Colleen is the daughter of Larry and Diane McCall of Hamlin. Jason is the son of Bill and Carol Rice of Sorrento, Florida and Daniel Trusler of Raytown, Missouri.

Heidi Buttermore and Sarah Frisch served as maids of honor. Brad Nowels and Cuyler Davis served as best men. Other attendants included Leah Connors, Crystal Trusler, Erin Haugen, Karin Wakas and Shannon Fraas. Jason Garcia, Rick Ballester, Shawn Brewer, Richard Altis and James Morgan acted as groomsmen with Rich Harbin and Jerry Riddell as ushers. Flower girl was Alexa Riddell and ring bearer was Dylan Davis.

Colleen graduated from Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida with a BA degree in theatre arts and communications. She is employed by Northland Church, Longwood, Florida.

Jason received his BSBA degree in administration and MBA in marketing from the University of Southern Colorado in Pueblo. He is CEO of FutureMT.com, an online medical transcription school, and is an independent mortgage broker and realtor in the Orlando area.

The couple honeymooned in Jamaica and reside in Winter Springs, Florida.


Nicole DeVos - Brad Coolack

Randy and Lisa DeVos of Hamlin announce the engagement of their daughter Nicole to Specialist Brad Coolack, son of Dave and Sue Coolack of Kendall.

The bride-to-be is a future 2007 graduate of Brockport High School. Her fiancé is a tank mechanic in the U.S. Army. Brad served one year overseas in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and completes his contract with the U.S. Army in April of 2008.

Their wedding is planned for September 1, 2007.


Melissa L. Magin - Brendan J. Newhart

Lee and Linda Magin of Gates and Rob and Mary Ellen Newhart of Hilton are proud to announce the engagement of their children Melissa L. Magin and Brendan J. Newhart, both current residents of Orlando, Florida.

Melissa is a 1999 graduate of Gates Chili High School and received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from SUNY Stony Brook on Long Island in 2003.

Brendan is a 2000 graduate of The Aquinas Institute of Rochester and earned an associate's degree in culinary arts and service management from Paul Smith's College in the Adirondacks.

They are both working at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport, Brendan as the assistant executive steward and Melissa as a catering administrative assistant.

An April 19, 2008 wedding is planned.


Julie A. Tarbell - Christopher M. Bianchi

Edward and Marianne Tarbell of Webster and Angelo and Nancy Bianchi of Hilton are pleased to announce the engagement of their children Julie A. Tarbell and Christopher M. Bianchi.

Julie is a graduate of Webster High School, received a bachelor's degree in education from SUNY Oswego, a master's degree in literacy from Nazareth College of Rochester and is employed as a reading specialist in the Spencerport Central School District.

Chris is a graduate of Cardinal Mooney and Bishop Kearney High Schools, received a bachelor's degree in history from St. John Fisher College, a master's degree in education from SUNY Brockport, and completed his fourth successful season as the men's and women's head soccer coach at the University of Wisconsin at Platteville, where he was also a professor in the School of Education.

A July 2007 wedding is planned.


Cole - D'Agostino

DeAnna Cole and Charles D'Agostino were united in marriage November 25, 2006.

The bride is the daughter of Dean and Donna Cole of Kendall. The groom's parents are Phil and Carol D'Agostino, also of Kendall.

DeAnna received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Gannon University in 2004. She is employed by Strong Memorial Hospital.

Charles received his bachelor of science degree in 2004 and will receive a doctorate degree in physical therapy in 2007 from Gannon University.
