Stephanie S. Rath - Peter L. Chien

Dale and Ruth Rath of Hamlin announce the engagement of their daughter Stephanie S. to Peter L. Chien. Peter is the son of Janet Chien of Chicago and the late Peter Chien.

Stephanie was valedictorian of Brockport High School in 1992 and graduated from Yale with a bachelor of arts degree in history. She is a marketing manager at Pepsi Co Corporation's Quaker Foods Division in Chicago.

Peter was valedictorian of Downers Grove High School (Illinois) in 1990 and graduated from Yale with a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy. He earned his master's degree in education from Stanford University, and is a third year student at the University of Chicago Medical School.

A September 4 wedding in Chicago is planned.

Lisa Williams - David Raysor

The engagement of Lisa Williams and David Raysor has been announced. Lisa is the daughter of Donna Williams and Daniel Reome of Clifton Springs. David is the son of Daniel and Julie Raysor of Spencerport.

The future bride is a 1994 graduate of Midlakes High School, Clifton Springs, and a 1998 graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College with a degree in elementary education. She is attending Nazareth College for her master's degree as a literacy specialist. She is a substitute teacher in the Greece Central School District.

Her fiance is a 1996 graduate of Spencerport High School, and is attending SUNY Brockport to earn a degree in mathematics. He is assistant credit manager at Henrietta Building Supplies.

Their wedding is planned for July 9, 2005.

Julie A. McGraw - Phil A. D'Agostino III

John and Christine McGraw of Hamlin are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Julie A. to Phil A. D'Agostino III. Phil is the son of Phil Jr. and Carol D'Agostino of Kendall.

Julie, a graduate of Brockport High School and SUNY Geneseo, is a fourth grade teacher at Northwood Elementary School, Hilton.

Phil is a graduate of Kendall High School and SUNY Oswego and is a technology teacher at Hilton High School.

Their wedding is planned for November 27, 2004.

Amy Knight - Tim Scata

Joseph and Lynne Knight of Spencerport are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Amy to Tim Scata. Tim is the son of Donald and Peggy Scata, also of Spencerport.

Amy and Tim are 2000 graduates of Spencerport High School. Amy graduated from Grove City College in 2003 with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She is a teacher in the Manchester-Shortsville School District. Tim received a bachelor of science degree in information technology from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2004. He is employed by Logical Solutions.net.

Their wedding will take place July 23, 2005.

Michelle Bloser - Shawn Boyce

Paul and Carole Bloser of Churchville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Michelle (Shelly) to Shawn Boyce, son of Gary and Barbara Boyce, also of Churchville.

Shelly is a senior at Houghton College and Shawn is a senior at SUNY Brockport.

Charlene and Basil Whitney Jr. of Bergen are pleased to announce the engagement of their son Brian B. to Aimee M. Wiegand. Aimee is the daughter of George and Michele Wiegand of Lakeville, New York.

Brian is a 1997 graduate of Byron-Bergen High School. He is employed by the Monroe County Water Authority, Rochester.

Aimee is a 1997 graduate of Avon High School and a 2000 graduate of Paul Smith College. She is a chef at PF Chang's China Bistro.

Courtney is the daughter of Paul and Terrie Ritzenthaler of Byron. Justin is the son of James and Doris Waliszewski of Kendall.

Courtney is a graduate of Byron Bergen High School and is employed at Holiday Inn, Batavia.

Justin, a graduate of Kendall High School, is employed at Kennedy Mechanical, Plumbing and Heating.
