Weddings for November 2004
Sarla Mael and Matthew Freeman were united in marriage July 24, 2004 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Kendall.
The bride is the daughter of Lynn and Candi Mael of Kendall. The groom is the son of William and Louise Freeman of Little Valley, New York.
The maid of honor was Karen Amidon. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Ardella, Jessica D'Angelo, Jen Zani and Kathryn Stead. Sienna Petrino acted as flower girl.
Brian Pitts was the best man. Nathan Freeman, Michael Mael, Geoffrey Freeman and Andrew Freeman served as groomsmen. Nicholas Freeman acted as ring bearer.
The couple are graduates of the State University of New York at Oswego and are pursuing their master's degrees in education. Matthew is employed by the Randolph Central School system and Sarla is employed by Dr. John A. Inkley, DVM.
The couple will honeymoon in the Caribbean. They reside in Randolph, New York.
Karen Davis - John Maloney Jr.
Karen Davis of Spencerport is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter Jennifer to John Maloney Jr., son of John and Diane Maloney of Irondequoit. Karen is also the daughter of the late G. Richard Davis.
Jennifer, a 1998 graduate of Brockport High School, graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in medical technology. She will pursue her master's degree in secondary education at Roberts Wesleyan College next spring.
John, a 1999 graduate of West Irondequoit High School, graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
Their wedding is planned for August 6, 2005.
Jolene Male - Terrence Hasseler
Robert and Carol Male of Spencerport are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Jolene to Terrence Hasseler. Terrence is the son of Russell and Christine Hasseler of Newark, New York.
Jolene graduated from Churchville-Chili High School in 1997. She is a 2001 graduate of the State University of New York at Morrisville with a bachelor of technology degree in equine science and management. Jolene is a commercial bakery coordinator at Wegmans Food Markets and teaches horseback riding in Churchville.
Terrence is a 1996 graduate of Newark High School and a 2001 graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. Terrence is an auditor for Raymond F. Wager, CPA, PC.
Their wedding is planned for October 9, 2005.
Samantha Heise - John Zelent
John and Sandra Heise of Holley announce the engagement of their daughter Samantha to John Zelent, the son of John and Bernadette Zelent of Plattsburgh.
Miss Heise, a graduate of Holley High School, received her bachelor of arts degree from SUNY Geneseo and her M.S.W. from the University of Buffalo. She is a social worker with Hillside Children's Center, working with adolescents at Thomas Jefferson High School in Rochester.
Mr. Zelent graduated from Mt. Assumption Institute in Plattsburgh, New York. He received his bachelor of science degree from the University of Buffalo and is pursuing his master's degree at Roberts Wesleyan College. He is a second grade teacher at the Barclay School in Brockport.
An August 2005 wedding is planned.
Nikki Ousley and Michael Campbell, both of Strongsville, Ohio, were married Saturday, June 12, 2004 at Brunswick Church of the Nazarene, Brunswick, Ohio.
The bride is the daughter and step-daughter of Vaughn and Kathy Ousley and Ron and Annette Barr, all of New Concorde, Ohio. The groom is the son of David and Janet Campbell of Ogden.
The bride is a graduate of Kent State University and is a Special Ed teacher in Strongsville, Ohio. The groom is a 1997 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School and Kent State University. He is a police officer in Strongsville, Ohio.
The couple honeymooned on a southern Caribbean cruise.
Jennifer L. McCullough - Thomas F. Anthony
Fred and Jill McCullough are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Jennifer L. to Thomas F. Anthony. Thomas is the son of Susan Anthony of Wilmington, North Carolina and Richard Anthony of Henrietta.
Jennifer is a 1999 graduate of Brockport High School and is employed by Women Gynocology and Childbirth Associates P.C.
Tom is a 1995 graduate of Rush-Henrietta High School and a 1999 graduate of LeMoyne College. He is employed by ACM Medical Lab as a medical technologist.

Ann Marie is the daughter of Lou and Ellen Amarosa of Churchville. Robert is the son of Alan and Mary Long of Amherst, New York.
The bride-to-be is a 1996 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Dayton with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. She is a senior accountant at Frontier Telephone of Rochester.
The future groom, a 1992 graduate of Canisius High School, received bachelor of science degrees in business administration and philosophy in 1996 from SUNY Buffalo. He is vice president of sales for Logisoft.
Their wedding is planned for September 24, 2005.
Sally J. Brown-Shaklee and Gregory D. Schaffer exchanged marriage vows October 9, 2004. The bride is the daughter of Janice Brown and Kim Shaklee of Birdsall, New York. The groom is the son of Linda and Michael Schaffer of Brockport.
Amy Souders served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Alexis Macdonald and Emma Brown-Shaklee.
Dan Schaffer served as best man. Brian Washburn and Mason Winters acted as ushers.
The bride and groom are both graduates of SUNY Brockport. The bride is a legislative aide to United States Senator Richard J. Durbin - Illinois. The groom is employed by the Trader Joe company in Arlington, Virginia.
The couple resides in Arlington, Virginia.

The best man was Kyle Sausser. Tim Kruger and Jeff Andrews served as groomsmen. Jeremy and Joshua Rothchild were ushers.
The bride and groom are graduates of Valparaiso University. They work for the Indiana Department of Transportation. Jessica is a traffic systems engineer and Jonathon is a construction engineer.
The newlyweds reside in Kouts, Indiana.

The bride is the daughter of Dale E. and Ruth Rath of Hamlin. The groom is the son of Janet Chien of Woodridge, Illinois and the late Peter Chien.
Natasha Marcus was maid of honor. Don Lamb was best man. Eleanor Grace Marcus and Peter Roney acted as flower girl and ring bearer, respectively.
Stephanie is Brockport High School class of 1992 valedictorian and holds a bachelor's degree in history from Yale University. She is a senior marketing manager at PepsiCo's Quaker Foods Division in Chicago. Peter graduated as valedictorian from Downers Grove, Illinois High School in 1990 and has a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Yale University, a master's degree in education from Stanford University and is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Chicago.
The couple plan to honeymoon in Hawaii next spring.
