McGovern - Mayer

Christine M. McGovern and Brett M. Mayer were married on May 21, 2006 in an outdoor ceremony on the lawn of Belhurst Castle in Geneva.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Jayne McGovern of Ogden. The groom is the son of Michael and Wendy Mayer of Spencerport.

Michelle Pyzik served as maid of honor and the best man was Anthony Loria. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Mayer, Trish Dillenbeck, Heather Schoff and Pam Woodford. Taylor Calisto acted as flowergirl. The groomsmen were Shaun McGovern, Alex Mayer, Alex Bauer and Bob Nortier. Adam Lehner served as ring bearer.

Christine is a 2005 graduate of St. John Fisher College and is pursuing her master's degree from Boston University. She is office manager at Click Commerce, Inc., Fairport.

Brett is a graduate of Hilton High School and is pursuing a degree in computer technology from Monroe Community College. He is employed as a computer help desk agent in the Rochester City School District.

The couple honeymooned in Oahu and Maui and reside in Gates.

Michelle Quimby - Christopher Kincaid

Dale and Cathy Kincaid of Hamlin are pleased to announce the engagement of their son Christopher to Michelle Quimby, the daughter of Bruce and Sue Quimby of Chili.

Christopher, a 2000 graduate of Brockport High School, attends Finger Lakes Community College where he is earning a degree in natural resource conservation. He is employed by Erdle Perforating.

Michelle, a 1997 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School and a 2003 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in interior design, is a banquet manager for The Hyatt.

Their wedding is planned for November 2006.

Emily A. Shewan - Joshua P. Britton

Paul and Joy Shewan of Churchville joyfully announce the engagement of their daughter Emily A. to Joshua P. Britton, son of A. Paul Britton of Rochester and Susan Britton of Greece.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Churchville-Chili Senior High School, a 2005 graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College with a degree in music education and is attending the Eastman School of Music in pursuit of a master's degree in horn performance and literature. She is employed by Eckerd Pharmacy as a certified pharmacy technician.

The future groom is a 2001 graduate of Greece Arcadia High School. He graduated from Monroe Community College with an associate's degree in music and is attending Roberts Wesleyan College, where he will complete his bachelor's degree in music education in May 2007. He is employed by Wegman's and St. Rita's Catholic Elementary School in Webster.

A December 29, 2006 wedding is planned.

Christine R. Alaimo - Clayton S. Beeman

Donna Alaimo of Chili is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter Christine R. to Clayton S. Beeman, son of Scott and Louise Beeman of Churchville. The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Russell B. Alaimo Jr.

The couple are 2000 graduates of Churchville-Chili High School. Christine graduated from the University at Buffalo with a joint bachelor's degree in English and psychology and received a master's degree in education from Canisius College She is a teacher at Churchville-Chili Junior High School.

Clayton attended the San Diego Golf Academy in Myrtle Beach. He is employed as a union electrician.

Their wedding is planned for August 10, 2007.

Lanay Uttaro - Brian Zarallo

Mike and Pam Uttaro of Rochester are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter Lanay to Brian Zarallo. Brian is the son of Sam and Albina Zarallo of Sewell, New Jersey.

Ms. Uttaro, a 2001 graduate of Spencerport High School, is the catering coordinator at The Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia.

Mr. Zarallo, a graduate of West Virginia University and Rutgers Law School, is an assistant district attorney for the City of Philadelphia.

A July 2007 wedding is planned.

Grieco - Davis

Mary Liz Grieco and Jeffery Davis were married October 14, 2005 at St. Alphonsus Church, Chicago, Illinois.

Mary Liz is the daughter of John and Liz Grieco of Spencerport. Jeff is the son of Martin and Susan Davis of Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Michele Long was the maid of honor and Michelle Grieco was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren and Emily Mack, Melissa and Sara Trinchini, Jodie Hickey and Jennifer Davis. Flower girls were Ellie and Abby Gunwell and Katelyn Nardulli.

Jim Davis served as the best man. Groomsmen were John Grieco, Michael Mack, Brian and Scott Koertgen, Kevin Wade, Brian Burden and Clint Johansen. Junior groomsman was Daniel Maggio and ring bearer was Mark Hughes.

Mary Liz received her bachelor's degree in travel management and a master's degree in hospitality management from Rochester Institute of Technology. She is director of operations for Regency Exposition Services in Chicago.

Jeff received his bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in sports management from Illinois State University. He is employed at the Chicago Tribune.

The couple honeymooned in Maui and Kauai, Hawaii.

Bridget K. Conlon - Joshua A. Rapke

Brian and Patty Conlon of Greece and Gary and Mary Jo Rapke of Hilton are pleased to announce the engagement of their children Bridget K. Conlon to Joshua A. Rapke.

Both graduated from Hilton High School in 2001. Bridget earned her degree from Monroe Community College in the field of dental hygiene in 2006. Joshua earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in business from Rochester Institute of Technology, graduating in 2006. Bridget is a dental hygienist in the office of Drs. Glenn and Justin Reeves, DDS in New Mills, New York.

Joshua is employed by the Defense Finance and Accounting Services in Rome, New York.

Kristin L. Hill - Joshua M. Campbell

Larry and Karlene Hill of Chili are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin L. to Joshua M. Campbell, son of Dick and Becky Campbell of Dansville.

Kristin is a 2000 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School and a 2003 graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College, earning a bachelor's degree in chemistry. She is completing a doctor of pharmacy degree at Wilkes University. She is employed by Wegmans Food Markets.

Joshua is a 1995 graduate of Dansville Senior High School and a 2000 graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College, earning a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He is employed by Hillside Children's Center and the Monroe County Sheriff's Department.

Their wedding is planned for April of 2007.

Plucknette - VanVelson

Melinda R. Plucknette and Robert C. VanVelson were united in marriage September 8, 2006 at Trinity Episcopal Church, Rochester.

The bride is the daughter of John and Janet Plucknette of Spencerport. The groom is the son and step-son of William and Rose VanVelson of Spencerport and the son of Gail Aldridge of West Irondequoit.

Suzanne Chichester was the maid of honor. Julie Scaccia and Lindsay Azzolina were bridesmaids.

Michael VanVelson served as best man. Tom Donahue, Ben Plucknette and Devon Kliner acted as groomsmen.

Melinda is pursuing a degree in business administration through the University of Phoenix and is a manager at McDonald's. Robert is in the U.S. Army and is serving one year in Afghanistan.

The couple honeymooned in New York City and Montreal, Canada. They will reside at Ft. Drum in Watertown, New York when the groom returns from Afghanistan.
